Legend About Skateboarding
In the Legends Tale, skateboarders from around the world are interviewed. They talk about their memories of skating, what was happening when they first started skating, and where they now skate. Mike and his team of writers take you on an exciting journey through all the hottest skaters in the world.
They took me to some of the places where I had only seen photos or videos of before. I learned about some of the biggest skateboarding “what ifs” that happened during the early days of the sport. I learned about some of the spots that will always be near the top of my list for summer skating.
This book covers the early days of skateboarding when skateboarders were still learning how to do tricks and dodging cars. The authors tell the story of some of the best skaters from the ’70s through the ’80s, including Billy Travis, Jon Lee, Jody Watley, Jamie Lewis, and more. It is an incredible look into the early years of skateboarding that will amaze you with its wide range of topics covered.
Best Old Skateparks
My interest in skating had dwindled over the years, and I was in the right mood to finally learn about the places where I had heard stories and wondered about. It is fascinating to learn about the early days of skateboarding as it relates to the big names that were on the boards during those times. The authors take you back in time to see how the sport changed with the aid of technology and new skateboards that are more advanced today. The most amazing part about this book is that it is about skateboarding and not skating!
The Best Old Skateparks: The Legends Tale is an excellent video book that covers some of the most famous skateparks of all time. These places are some of the best places to skate in the world. For those of us who remember from the early days, these places are like stepping back in time.
The authors took us back in time to some of the older skateparks in a good way and made it fun to read about them. Now we can bring back memories of the big names, the new spots, and the legends of the sport that will never be forgotten. We are lucky to have Mike Snider keep telling our stories.
The book itself is written well and is a solid book to go through. It starts out with a review of some of the legends that the book is based on. It then goes into the author’s personal story and his career then talks about the locations that he discussed and discusses some of the subjects that they covered in the book.
It Is Not A Study Of The Game
The book itself is not a study of the game, but a book about what it is about. It is fun and engaging and always interesting. Mike and his team of writers talk about things that are fun and intriguing to know. The book moves along fast and never loses its interest.
I love the story about Jimmy Ischeberger. I felt like I was right there on the inside of the tape that I was hearing when it came to telling the story. I especially enjoyed how they treated the interview subjects. I always find it interesting when people don’t mind talking to the subject of their book.
Overall, the book was great to read. It offers up some of the best quotes and anecdotes that you will ever hear from those that started it and the people that still skate today. It also includes an in-depth look at some of the best places that you will ever come across when you are looking for skateparks.
I can’t wait to purchase a second copy and get started on one. One of the best books that I have ever purchased.
